MyPhone products are popular in the local market for their relatively budget Duo (Dual Sim Card Capability) and Qwerty phone models. If the My|Phone QW28 Duo is popular for its WiFi, this My|Phone T23 Duo stands out among its MyPhone peers for its touch screen.

My Phone T23 Duo
My|Phone T23 Duo has a dimension of (104.8) x (56) x (12.9) mm. Its not bulky nor a slim mobile phone. Nevertheless, it’s pretty handy and can be fitted on most pouches. It weights relatively light (91 grams) that makes it even portable.


Battery lasts for more than 7 hrs for if you do pure voice calls, which is already satisfying for needs of most users. The standby time lasts for about 9 days- pretty attractive too.

Its touch screen display stretches at 2.8 inches diagonally covering almost its whole body surface – also another good attraction.

When it comes to the camera, it is equipped in its rear panel. It’s supposed to be a 2 mega pixel resolution but the output images don’t seem to pass the 2.0 mega-pixel quality. The My Phone Q19i also has same issue when it comes to the camera quality. MyPhone seems not to deliver impressive job when it comes to cameras on its phones. If you care not much for a camera in a phone, then it is all well for you.

When it comes to multimedia, it capable of playing the popular media files format like mp3, mp4, etc. Additionally, it has an FM radio, Sound Recorder and Yamaha amplifier settings.

The My|Phone T23 Duo is not WIFI capable though. Its other data connectivity features include Bluetooth and USB.

Recommendations
The touch screen is surely its most notable highlight. Other features are what a standard mobile phone these days has. Its broad display delivers pretty good job when using applications as well as for viewing video files. By the way, you might also find its expandable memory through its MicroSD slot useful if you need more storage for media files.

There are still other relatively affordable units though, or you may want to check other available phone models to compare which will suit you best.

    slow video play back.. crappy music output & first generation firmware is used. ( China phone touch screens ) The good side about this phone, internet is very fast...

    I have this phone also. There are some crappy features on this unit, even the virtual keypad is not qwerty. But with it's current price, this phone is ain't crappy at all.
    I can say, GOOD PHONE WITH A GOOD PRICE. Touch phone for the masses, LOL!!!

    crappy music? i dont think so..you must explore the phone first before you judge it..you can adjust sound effects under music..the sad thing is that t23 duo has no wifi i hope they will release t23 duo with wifi.. but anyway this phone still rocks with its current features..and its cheap!

    well with this phone i can listen to my favorite music and browse the internet @ the same time for free w/out load w/out wifi anytime anywhere! download youtube videos and mp3, and touch screen games for free directly on my t23 using my operamini! i can also watch streamin youtube videos on it w/ my bolt browser... I can chat my friend on fb, ym, gtalk, msn etc...like i was at the chat room real time using ebuddy! all for free! now how was that for a cheap phone? hahahaha!

    How will I add new songs to my audio library? Geez, no matter where i copy songs, the "Music" Application can't detect it. I just play songs one by one. And it sucks. @_@

    For those who are wondering why there are no music in the music player and you have to play it one by one. Use your common sense put it in the My Music Folder because it worked for me. Also, can it play MPEG4 Videos????

    Got one yesterday new for P2,800 (coming from P3.4k at ATC) with free screenguard pa. Extra battery is only P250 which is a steal since the phone has good battery life.

    I bought 1 5 days ago. the phone itself is good....BUT, the instruction manual is poor at best to show you how to work it (settings, music etc). I have been trying to get onto the net and get to play music and have had noooo luck so far. Radio and touch screen are brilliant but remember...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, THERE ARE NO FREE LUNCHES OUT THERE! It is adequate, it looks good but unless you are a phone tech wizard, you'll struggle to get it to do all all the things it is supposed to. I took mine to a myphone dealer and THEY couldnt get it to do everything it claims. The choice is yours - but you cant fault it for Pinoy Pride!

    i got myphone t23 duo last feb. for 3,350 pesos lang... actually i did not use it much.. tapos this aug. ngsimula n cyang magloko.. ung pen calibration nya laging sablay kahit d q namn ginagalaw then i found a small amount of moisture at the middle of the screen when i turn it off... then after a few days the moisture is gone.. then when i calibrate it it goes back to normal.. then the history repeated itself... after a couple of weeks d gumagana touch screen nya... i cant access my phone at all... then i go to service center in cubao they ask me to pay 200 pesos for the check-up fee + the labor and part.. that seems so unfair, right? whats the purpose of warantee? you cannot say free warantee if you have to pay an amount.. this is my first and last "MylPhone"... thanks for the tricks.. MylPhone is a low quality phone..

    Good Day!

    May I ask on how will I troubleshoot my T23Duo. The scenario is this: I opened my phone with only one sim inserted and it showed emergency signal, so I inserted the sim 2 but it also showed emergency signal. I on/off the phone but the problem still persist. I inserted the two sims in other phone just to check if its sim/s' problem but the two sims are working. Can you help me solve this problem. Currently I am in singapore so I can't go to your service centers.

    WORST PHONES IN THE WORLD!!! I bought 2 of these phones. Even the Chinese crappy phones are better than myphone. Every call drops. could never get the internet on the phone to work, and there is no customer service what so ever. They never reply to emails or phone calls. Must mean they know there product is crap! Much better off going with a real name brand phone!

    to deactivate the touch vibrate, go to settings, profile, general,customize,then volume, then ringtone. then select the vibration and turn it to zero..

    same here.. nung nagdownload ako ng ilang games then i put them in the received files then i installed them un.. kada buksan ko ung memory card ko namamatay ung phone.. as well as game loft, opera mini, gtalk and a sort of that stuffs.. pahelp namn.. even though i already removed the memory card still, whenever i click that gameloft, opera mini and whatsoever, t23 duo still turns off itself.. please help nman.. -mark

    @mark. actually ung saken ndi na siya namamatay. minsan nalang kapag incompatible ang nainstall kong Java game. ung ginawa ko nung nagsave lang ako ng games sa phone not in the memory card. tas ngkapalit-palit mga names ng mga games phone ko. para bang nkaconnect ung nka save sa phone and memorycard. and then nung nagdelete ako nung mga ilang games, ndi na siya namamatay.trymo sa phone mo, if ever lang na pareho tayong problem.

    i bought my t23 duo last june 6 2011. for the first 5 months maganda ang kalidad ng celfon. nong mga late nov. or earlier dec 2011 i notice na ung mga mms pic msgs na sinesent sa akin ay lumiliit yung size. i thought sa network lang yun din i tried to send it to myself from 265kb (mga 5 pics) pag recieve ko naging 25kb na lang... angh liliit ng mga pic sizes... ngayon jan 2012 hindi na gumagana ang mms. di na makaconect. pls help...     THIS myPhone brand SUCKS! I have a TW8 Duo unit, dual sim touch screen phone I purchased 4 months ago and it is the worst cellphone I had. The phone usually turns off for no reason. Hard time to txt because of the delay when typing. The settings are not intuitive and hard to configure and understand. Useless if you upgrade storage because you cannot store messages. The icons and graphics are lackluster. I was once proud because its from a Philippine company, but since the trashy units seem to be just brought from China and rebranded, it has low quality and thus great frustration. Talk about cheap fish crackers pasted with a different sticker... I bet the other myPhone units are of the same low quality. I surely doubt if the famous celebrities they have as endorsers even use it. Its the commercial money they get, of course. I'll surely replace it and NOT recommend to anyone. - Richie of Manila

    Read more: Why did my my|phone T23 Duo`s touch screen suddenly didn`t work? - It`s just there in the table for hours, and when I pick it up and used it, it didn`t work...suddenly. The three keys are working, but the touch screen is not. And in the next next day, it miraculously worked! But when I locked the phone, and tried to unlock it again (by touching the bubble for 3 seconds), it won`t unlock, so I was forced to remove the battery and turn it on again. It still works...But tha failure to unlock it means that holding won`t work, only quick taps will. But in the next day after that, it doesn`t work again... Help!
